- Earth wire to the earth terminal of the distribution box.
- Connect outgoing circuits:
- The load side of the RCBO/RCCB connects to the respective phase and neutral wires of the protected circuit.
- Ensure that the line and neutral of the same circuit remain paired to maintain proper residual current detection .
- Check polarity and connections: Verify that all terminals are tightened to the manufacturer's torque specifications and that no conductors are loose.
- Test the device: After wiring, switch on the main supply and press the test button on the RCBO/RCCB to ensure it trips correctly, confirming proper installation .
